Two days ago, I posted my artwork to my online shop. Today I want to share how honored I am that you bought so many of my drawings. I feel like a five year old! I want to jump from joy because you value my work. Although I can hardly call it work, because to me, making art is fun. You bought what I do when I play, and that is awesome. THANK YOU for this gift. It means I can continue to make better, deeper, and unexplored creations. I wish with all my heart that you too can do more of what you love! I just finished adding the biggest update to my online shop on Etsy since I began this website two years ago. You can now find all of the silver ink drawings from the 100 Days 100 Drawings series; collages; paintings from the Atlas series; one-of-kind sterling silver jewelry; and my brass jewelry cast collection. Remember these? All of my drawings will be available next Saturday in my One-Day Sale in Mexico City. Sign up for my mailing list to receive an invitation. I just completed the final drawing for my 100 day project. I am grateful for the permission this challenge gave me to explore my imagination without setting limits or goals. I enjoyed making every single drawing. I always found inspiration, even when I feared I’d run out of ideas. I learnt to not judge my work because often, the drawings that did not go as planned ended up being my favorite. A part of me (my neck, mostly) is happy the challenge is over, drawing this much has filled me with new ideas, and I am looking forward to full days at my jewelry bench. Thank you for coming with me on this journey. I appreciate your generous encouragement and kindness. I hope that you too are inspired to travel inwards and discover the awesome treasures that lie within your imagination. |
